About This Call
Shapes and Colors 2025 invites artists worldwide to exhibit and publish work inspired by shapes and colors. This international juried competition is open to all artists of any age, background, or career stage working in all 2D and 3D mediums including painting, drawing, digital, mixed media, sculpture, installation, fiber art, and photography. All styles are welcome—abstract, conceptual, figurative, contemporary, modern, surrealism, minimalism, and beyond.
Submission is free, with a USD 40 selection fee required only for jury-selected artists (USD 34 with early bird discount). Artists may submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 selected for the exhibition. The entry deadline is May 26, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Work must focus on themes including pure abstraction, geometric and symmetrical forms, organic and free-form shapes, symbolism and storytelling, contrast and illusion, monochrome and limited palettes, the science of color, or the emotional power of color and form.
Selected artists will have their work featured in the Shapes and Colors 2025 online international group exhibition running June 18 to August 18, 2025. Benefits include publication in The Book of Art: Shapes and Colors 2025, potential feature on Artsy.net, digital certificate of participation, professional artist profile on Biafarin platform, exhibition catalogue inclusion, downloadable exhibition poster, promotional badges, visitor feedback and ratings, performance analytics, and permanent online presence. Up to 10 outstanding artists will receive an Honorable Mention Artist Award digital certificate. All exhibited works will be available for viewing and sale through the online showcase.
