About This Call
Shapes and Colors is an international online group exhibition and publication opportunity organized by Gallerium. The exhibition showcases art inspired by shapes and colors as essential elements of artistic creation. All abstract and representational interpretations in any 2D and 3D art medium are welcomed, including painting, drawing, illustration, photography, digital arts, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, and more. This opportunity is open to all visual artists worldwide working in any medium.
Submission is free of charge. Selected artists will pay a USD 40 selection fee. Artists can submit up to 5 artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. The jury process uses a two-phase approach: first a Yes/No selection, then scoring by jury members on a scale of 1-5, with highest-scoring artworks selected.
Selected artworks will be exhibited online from June 5 to August 5, 2024. A subset of selected artworks will be published in The Book of Arts: Shapes and Colors, available in both online and print formats and distributed internationally. Selected artworks will also be promoted for sales through the online exhibition. Additional benefits include publication in an exhibition catalogue, digital exhibition poster, lifelong exhibition links, social media promotional badges, artwork reviews from visitors, exhibition press release promotion, analytics reports, potential magazine publication, a free artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, and a digital certificate. A money-back guarantee is available for selection fee payments until the exhibition's official opening day. Artworks must be original, created by the entrant without instructor supervision, and not copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Artists must have all rights for presenting and publishing artworks internationally.
