Shapes and Colors - 2023

Shapes and Colors is an international online group exhibition and publication opportunity presented by Gallerium. The call invites artists to submit abstract and figurative art inspired by shapes and colors, the essential elements of creating art. All visual artists worldwide are eligible to participate, working in any art medium including painting, drawing, illustration, photography, digital arts, sculpture, ceramics, and mixed media.

Submission is free of charge. Artists can submit up to 5 original artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. Selected artists will pay a selection fee of USD 40. Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant and not copies or derivatives of other copyrighted work. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no limit on creation year. There is no size limit for submitted artworks.

Selected artworks will be published in The Book of Arts: Shapes and Colors publication, available in both online and print formats, and showcased in the Shapes and Colors international online exhibition from March 1-31, 2023. Selected artists will receive a digital certificate, an online profile page on the Biafarin platform, a digital exhibition catalogue, social media promotional badges, and a report with analytics on artwork views, comments, and engagement. The publication will be distributed internationally to art experts, galleries, curators, and enthusiasts across over 120 countries.
