Shadyside Art Festival with Craft Marketplace - 5th Annual

About This Call
The Shadyside Art Festival will be located on Walnut Street, a popular downtown shopping district in Pittsburgh. This seven-block area draws upscale shoppers from all over Pittsburgh and the suburbs, featuring boutiques, shops, galleries and distinctive restaurants in a neighborhood of tree-lined streets and historic homes. Crafters are also encouraged to apply, as a separate craft section will be included in the event.
This competitive show is limited to the number of exhibitors accepted by a jury of highly qualified, talented, experienced artists. The jury meets weekly and applications are juried in order of date received. Show hours are Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm on May 16-17, 2026, with free public admission. Spaces are 10x10 (limited 10x20 available with approved double booth image). The application fee is $35.00 and booth fee is $515.00.
Accepted mediums include clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, resin, and craft section. Artwork must be original, handcrafted, and directly created by the approved individual artist. The artist must be present throughout the event to engage with patrons. Howard Alan Events has over 40 years of experience producing juried street art festivals and will promote the event through Pittsburgh Post Gazette, City Paper, BOB FM, WLTJ FM and regional media.
