Serene Scenes

This is an international open call for a group exhibition inviting artists to submit their most serene, tranquil, and peaceful works of art. The gallery welcomes landscapes, oceanscapes, wildlife, parks & recreation, countrysides, quiet towns, and any other works encompassing the idea of a serene scene. Any medium, style, and size are accepted, and artworks can be created in any year.

The exhibition will be live online from Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 through Thursday, May 2nd, 2024. The entry fee is $15.00 with an additional media fee of $3.00. Submissions must include between 1 and 20 JPG images of up to 20 different artworks. For 2D works, images should be cropped to show the artwork only with excess shadows, highlights, and blurriness removed. For 3D works, images must be well-lit, centered, and against an all-white background. Artworks containing nudity, racist or offensive themes, or erotic content will not be accepted. Artists must be 18 years or older and submit original works. Artworks do not have to be for sale.

The Hummingbird & Dragonfly Art Gallery is a sister gallery to KBM Art Gallery with over 2,000 Instagram followers. The exhibition will also be promoted on the KBM Art Gallery X page to an audience of over 21,000 followers. Artists may choose whether their work is used on social media to promote the exhibition. Artists retain 100% of profits from artwork sales and full ownership of their work, which can be displayed and promoted at their own discretion. The gallery directs interested buyers to artists via email, social media, or other websites. Entry fee is non-refundable.
