September Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the September Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in operation for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury submissions and select 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces to exhibit. Artists may submit up to 5 images for review. The entry fee is $30.00. Artists must be 18 years of age or older, and all artwork must be original and for sale. Maximum artwork display size is 48" width x 72" height.

The exhibition runs Wednesday, August 30th through Thursday, September 28th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on September 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The gallery offers a 75/25 commission split, with 75% of sales going to the artist and 25% to the gallery. Artists will be paid by Sunday, October 1st. Local artists are requested to be present during the First Friday reception. Delivery dates are Friday, August 25th and Saturday, August 26th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Pick-up dates are Friday, September 29th and Saturday, September 30th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Out-of-state artists shipping work are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance and must include a prepaid return shipping label. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the exhibition closing date.
