About This Call
This is a 2D exhibition exploring the concept of the selfie as a starting point for artistic creativity. Works should take the idea of the selfie and see where creativity takes the artist. The show is not limited to photography; painting and mixed media are welcome.
All works must be original, executed in the last three years, and never previously shown at Sunset River Gallery. Works must be framed or gallery wrapped canvas and must be wired with no sawtooth hangers. If more than one piece is entered, each piece will be judged individually, and there is no guarantee that all pieces entered will be accepted. All art must be hand delivered; shipped pieces will not be accepted.
The show is open to all artists age 18 and over in South and North Carolina. Entry fee is $25.00. Submit 1-3 images of your work. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by January 1st, 2024. Exhibition dates: January 6 - February 3, 2024.
