Seeing Red: A Virtual Juried Photo Exhibit

Photo Art Pavilion invites photographers to participate in "Seeing Red," a virtual juried fine art photography exhibit celebrating the color red. Show how you capture the power, passion, and poetry of red—from fiery landscapes to intimate portraits. The exhibit celebrates red's bold spectrum including heat, strength, warmth, and vulnerability.

Open to all photographers, emerging and professional. All styles of photography are welcome. Juried selections will be based on: Clear Center of Interest, Composition, Focus and Exposure, Story, Lighting, Creativity, and Uniqueness. The juror is Joanne Henig, co-founder and curator of Photo Art Pavilion and an established fine art photographer.

Submission Requirements: Submit 5-10 photographs in JPEG/JPG format with the longest edge of 1200 pixels and file size of 5MB or smaller. All submissions must be free of watermarks or branding. Entry fee is $37.00 for the first 5 images, with $3.00 per additional image. All entry fees are non-refundable. All submitted art must be created by the submitting artist. Open to artists aged 18 years and older.

Awards: First Place $150, Second Place $125, Third Place $100, Honorable Mention $35. The Virtual Juried Exhibit Reception will be held online on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 at 7:00 PM EST via Zoom. The reception will be recorded and posted on the Photo Art Pavilion YouTube Channel. Juried photographs will be displayed in an online gallery on PhotoArtPavilion.com. Notifications will be sent November 7th, 2025. Online display available November 14th, 2025. By submitting, you grant Photo Art Pavilion the right to display selected images on their website and social media platforms, credited with title and artist name.
