Seeing Beyond: An Online Photography & Digital Art Exhibition

Seeing Beyond is an online photography and digital art exhibition hosted by the Rhode Island Watercolor Society. The exhibition runs from August 20th through September 18th and is open to all artists in the United States. Work must be completed within the last 10 years and may not be copied from copyrighted material or partially or wholly created by another artist.

Acceptable mediums include digital photography, analog/film photography, digital painting, photo manipulation, photo painting, digital collage, photo collage, fractal art, pixel art, 2D graphics, and 3D digital renders/paintings (represented with 2D images). Traditional art such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, egg tempera, and gouache is not permitted unless digitally altered to create a distinct digital artwork. Submissions should be well-represented by high-resolution digital images. Artists may submit 1-3 images. Entry fees are $15 per image for non-members and $10 per image for members.

Work may be listed as not for sale (NFS) by contacting the gallery. If an original or limited edition print is sold, the Rhode Island Watercolor Society receives 35% of the sale. Links to artists' websites will be listed next to accepted pieces. No accepted entry may be withdrawn prior to the close of the exhibition, and prices may not be renegotiated after submission.
