See Me in My Art 2018

See Me in My Art 2018 is an international competition of the Contemporary Child Art Museum with three divisions: Parents, Children, and Child Art Illustrators.

Parents Division: Parents or guardians collect a child's drawings and collaboratively create a story from these drawings, with the drawings as illustrations. Submit a PDF (maximum 5 pages) containing the story with images. Entry fee: $45.

Children's Division: Submit up to three works from a child. Four age groups are available: 2-4 years, 5-7 years, 8-10 years, and 11-12 years. Certificates of Appreciation will be provided to each entrant. The jury will select the most representative works to be included in a "First Competition" booklet, a copy of which will be sent to entrants with selected works.

Child Art Illustrators Division: Open to adult artists and illustrators submitting works depicting art in the style of children. Submit up to three works. First entry: $45; second entry: $35; third entry: $35.

Awards: Parents' Division – 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Places; Children's Division – 20 Certificates of Excellence and unlimited Certificates of Achievement; Child Art Illustrators – 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Places. Entries must be submitted within 10 weeks from the announcement date. Judges' decision on finalists announced within 2 weeks of submission deadline. Winners announced within 10 days of announcement of finalists. Show book and awards distributed approximately 5 weeks after the submission deadline. Founding Members ($100) receive a coupon for free entry and Lifetime Membership in CCAM.
