SEE Creatures — Real or Imagined

SEE Creatures — Real or Imagined is an annual juried exhibition inviting artists nationwide to submit work celebrating creatures both real and imagined. The exhibition will feature selected artists from across the U.S. working in ink, watercolor, oil, acrylic, clay, glass, metal, wood, mixed media, and more.

This is a blind jury selection process judged solely on submitted images through CaFÉ. Experience, résumé, and artistic background are not required. The jury panel includes notable jurors with diverse professional perspectives, and submissions from artists of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences are strongly encouraged. Artists may submit up to 3 entries. Entry fee is $35 per submission, plus $5 for each additional entry. Submissions are accepted January 31 through June 1, 2026. Notification of acceptance will be June 13–16, 2026.

The exhibition runs August 1–31, 2026, with an opening reception on Saturday, August 1, 5–7 PM at House of Orange Gallery, 107 Sunset Blvd., Cannon Beach, OR 97110. Artwork delivery window is July 1–15, 2026. Artists requesting return shipping must provide a FedEx account or coordinate payment with Craters & Freighters no later than September 5, 2026. Artists are responsible for return shipping costs. House of Orange will deliver work safely to the carrier in good faith but cannot assume liability for damage or loss in transit.
