Second Annual International I-Phonography Competition

The Plymouth Center for the Arts announces the Second Annual International I-Phonography Competition, celebrating mobile devices in creative image production. This competition invites photographers of all ages to submit images taken with mobile devices, cell phones, tablets, or iPads. Last year's competition received hundreds of submitted images, including international entries.

Images can be uploaded between September 7th through October 8th. Accepted images and prize winners will be announced October 26th. The online show will go live November 5th and run for almost eight weeks until mid-January 2016. This boutique show will showcase the best 50 submitted images. Entry fees are $10 per image, with a maximum of 15 entries per individual. Submissions must include a minimum of 1 image and a maximum of 15 images.

Five prizes will be awarded: First Place ($100), Second Place ($75), and Third Place ($50), plus two Honorable Mentions. All five winning images will be printed, matted, and framed at PCA's expense and highlighted at the Art Center's Winter/Holiday show. Awardees will receive ribbons and certificates and be invited to the Winter/Holiday Show's reception to receive their awards. All 50 selected images will be showcased online. The judge is Karen Messick. Membership is not required to participate.
