Seattle Erotic Art Festival 2015 Call for Art

The Seattle Erotic Art Festival is accepting art submissions for its thirteenth annual festival, to be held April 23-25, 2015 at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. All artists 18 and older from anywhere in the world are encouraged to submit work. The submission deadline is January 31, 2015 at 11:00pm PST. Artists outside of North America apply for free. All artists and models/actors depicted must be age 18 or older.

The festival seeks visual art, short film, literary art, installations, store art, and performance. Visual Art submissions may include up to six works of any medium. Short Film submissions may include up to three films, each up to 30 minutes in length, with technical specifications of 1080p or 720p resolution preferred and 30fps maximum frame rate. Installation Art submissions may include up to three proposals; selected artists may receive up to $300 to create participatory works. Literary Art submissions may include up to six pieces (poetry limited to 50 lines, prose/essays to 500 words, short stories to 1,500 words, novellas to 30,000 words, and one-act plays to 15 pages). Store Art and Performance Art submissions are also accepted.

Accepted artists receive a full festival pass, invitation to an exclusive artist reception, featured placement in the professionally designed festival catalog (print and PDF), and promotion on the festival website. Selected art will be featured throughout the event to thousands of patrons. Declined artists receive a discount toward a 2015 festival ticket in the amount of their highest submission fee and optional inclusion in the Salon de Refusé slideshow.
