About This Call
The City of SeaTac is seeking proposals from qualified artists or artist teams to design and create a food-inspired art mural at 18400 International Boulevard, located within the SeaTac International Dining District (World Table District). This mural is part of the City's FIFA 2026 initiative and will celebrate the area's rich cultural and culinary diversity while serving as a vibrant visual landmark welcoming both residents and visitors.
The project supports the City's broader goals of placemaking, cultural identity, and tourism development through creative public art as envisioned in the City of SeaTac's adopted Tourism Destination Development Plan (TDDP). The budget for this project is $15,000. Artists working in all media are eligible to apply, including craft/traditional arts, photography, drawing, film/video/new media, mixed-media/multi-discipline, painting, and sculpture. This is a national call open to qualified artists and artist teams.
