Seasonal Rhythms

Webster Arts is accepting submissions for Seasonal Rhythms, a Winter exhibition focusing on the use of 2D and 3D art to visualize the transitional nature of seasonal change. The changing of seasons are often evocative of specific moments in life, perhaps calling forth emotions of wistfulness or deep happiness from another time. Artists are invited to use their medium to visualize the tenuous yet exhilarating relationship of time and change, picturing those emotions and longings through the rhythms of the seasons. The exhibit will consider artworks of all mediums except for video.

Open to all artists, aged 18 or older, residing in the US. Entry Deadline: October 17, 2022, 11:59 PM CST. Entry Fee: $25 for 3 entries, $5 for each additional entry up to 10 images. Submit up to 10 JPEG digital images (between 1000 and 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 PPI/dpi, 5 MB maximum). Framed wall pieces must be wired for hanging and no larger than 48" x 48". All wall works on paper must be framed. Three dimensional works must not exceed 32" x 32" x 60" or weigh more than 50 pounds. All work must be the original conception and execution of the artist listed on the application. No reproductions. Please do not submit work that has been exhibited in any Webster Arts gallery in the past.

Selected works are expected to be shipped to or dropped off at Webster Arts by November 3, 2022. Exhibition Dates: November 4-December 23, 2022. Opening Reception: November 4, 2022, 7:00 PM at Webster Arts, #2 Summit Ave, Webster Groves, MO 63119. An independent juror will select work for inclusion in the exhibit and cash prizes ($250 Best in Show, two $100 Awards of Excellence). Sales are encouraged. Webster Arts receives a 30% commission on all exhibition sales. All artwork is insured for its declared value from the time it is received through the time it is picked up by the carrier.
