Sea to Shining Sea - What Unites Us?

Open to all United States resident artists 18 and over. Submit digital images of up to nine original works not previously shown in a Marin Society of Artists juried exhibition. Open to all media except video, film, and installation art. Only online entries with digitally uploaded images will be accepted. Digital entries must be received via online application before July 22, 2019 at midnight Mountain Time.

Entry fee for non-members: $55 for three pieces; $5 for each additional piece up to nine total. Entry fee for MSA members: $45 for three pieces; $5 for each additional piece up to nine total. Diptychs and triptychs count as one piece. Digital images must be in JPEG or JPG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, and under 5 MB. Accepted entries will be posted online by August 22, 2019. The exhibition runs September 12 - October 5, 2019, with an opening reception on September 13 from 5-8 p.m. Pacific Time.

Artwork size limitations: 2D work not to exceed 60" in height or width including frame, with total weight not exceeding 50 pounds. 3D work not to exceed 48"x48"x48" and cannot exceed 50 pounds. Waivers may be requested. Accepted artwork must be shipped to arrive by September 5 at 3 p.m. Pacific Time, or hand-delivered September 8 (1-3 p.m.) or September 9 (10 a.m.-1 p.m.) Pacific Time. Awards: First Place $500, Second Place $250, Third Place $125. MSA retains a 40% commission for non-members and 30% for members on sales. Artists whose work sells for $600 or more must provide a completed W-9 form.
