About This Call
The South Carolina Watermedia Society is accepting entries for the 2025 Spring Digital Show, juried by Steve Mitchell. The competition is open to current members (membership open to adults 18 or older). Entry fee is $25.00 plus a $10.00 media fee.
Submit 1-2 images of work created after January 1, 2021. All water-soluble media are acceptable except water-soluble oils. Where collage is used, watermedia must comprise more than 50 percent of the image. Work must be the sole creation of the entering artist. Images painted from published sources, completed under instruction in a class or workshop, or created using artificial intelligence are not acceptable and will result in disqualification with a one-year penalty.
Award winners will be notified via email. The top four paintings will receive monetary awards: First Place - $250, Second Place - $150, Third Place - $100, Honorable Mention - $50.
