Sculpture in Sterling

Sculpture in Sterling is an inaugural year-long outdoor exhibition bringing new sculptures and artists to Sterling, Colorado. Two sculptures will be selected and installed on Saturday, October 5, 2024, remaining on display for one year. Each selected artist will receive a $1,000 honorarium. If artwork is sold while on loan, the organization will retain a 10% commission.

The call accepts highly durable and resilient sculptures of any media from artists nationwide. Sculptures must be at least 4 feet tall and have a metal plate adhered to the base that can fit on an 8' x 4' plinth. Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces, with 2 different images required per sculpture. Artist or artist representative must be present for installation on October 5, 2024.

Timeline: Entry deadline is September 14, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jurying begins September 16, 2024, and artists will be notified of acceptance on September 18, 2024.
