Sculpture for All Competition & Exhibition

Sculpture for All is a national competition open to artists 18 years of age or older who reside in the United States. Work must be original, created in the last three years, and three-dimensional. Sculptures must be suitable for outdoor installation, able to be structurally secured to a concrete pad, capable of withstanding adverse weather conditions and high traffic areas, and safe for children. Works deemed unsafe, fragile, or otherwise unsuitable will not be considered.

Size limitations: No work can exceed 15 feet in height or weigh more than 1,000 pounds due to equipment limitations. Artists with larger pieces who can provide their own installation equipment may contact John Handley, Ph.D., Director of the Art Galleries, at [email protected] for authorization prior to submission.

Entry fee is $35 and allows each artist to submit up to three entries. Electronic submission is required via callforentry.org. Each entry must include up to three digital photographs in jpeg format showing alternate views, the title, size, materials used, an explanatory statement (approximately 100 words), a short biography (100 words or less in paragraph form), your website URL if applicable, and contact information. Sculpture installation is scheduled for mid-February 2014, with an evening reception on Friday, March 21, 2014.
