About This Call
Sculpture For All is a national competition and exhibition for three-dimensional sculptural works. Artists must be 18 years of age or older and reside in the United States. Work must be original, created in the last three years, and suitable for outdoor installation on a concrete pad. Sculptures must be capable of withstanding adverse weather conditions and high traffic areas, and safe for children and family viewing. Works deemed unsafe, fragile, or otherwise unsuitable will not be considered.
Size limitations: No work can exceed 15 feet in height or weigh more than 1,000 pounds due to equipment limitations. Artists with larger pieces who can provide their own installation equipment should contact Jeffie Brewer at [email protected] for authorization prior to submission. The non-refundable entry fee is $10 and allows submission of up to three entries. Each submission must include up to three digital photographs in jpeg format showing alternate views, the title, size, and materials used, an explanatory statement (approximately 100 words), a short biography (100 words or less in paragraph form), your website URL if applicable, and contact information.
Sculpture installation is scheduled for mid-February 2019, with an evening reception on Friday, March 22, 2019. The juror is Robbie Barber, Associate Professor of Sculpture at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, with extensive experience in sculpture education and exhibition throughout the United States.
