Sculpture Evergreen Sculpture Walk 2016-17

Sculpture Evergreen (formerly Art for the Mountain Community) invites artists to submit work for the annual Sculpture Walk, a juried exhibition of up to 16 large sculptures suitable for outdoor display. Selected sculptures will be on display for one year in public buildings and open spaces in Evergreen and Kittredge, Colorado.

Eligibility and Requirements: This is a national call. Sculptures must be at least 48" tall and suitable for outdoor display; outdoor wall sculptures are also considered. All works must be original and identical to submitted images. The $30 entry fee includes submission of up to 3 pieces (9 photos total). For each sculpture, provide 3 photos: frontal, rear, and one detailed image. Submit entries through CaFE by January 31, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Artists will be notified of acceptance by phone by February 29, 2016.

Installation and Awards: Accepted sculptures must arrive in Evergreen on Friday, June 3, 2016, with installation on June 4, 2016. Artists must be present for installation. Each accepted sculpture receives a $700 stipend. Additional awards include a $1,000 Juried Award and a $700 People's Choice Award. Sculpture Evergreen receives a 25% commission on any sales occurring during the exhibition year. Since the program's inception, 32 pieces have been purchased. Sculptures will remain in place for one year (until June 2, 2017).
