Scratching the Surface

Scratching the Surface is a group exhibition at Verum Ultimum Art Gallery in Portland, Oregon. The competition is open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, working in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Wall-mounted works must not exceed 60" in height or width.

Submit 1-3 digital JPG images of your work. The entry fee is $35.00. The submission deadline is May 6, 2017. Artists will be notified of acceptance by May 30, 2017 via email. Selected artists will be featured in the exhibition in August 2017, with an opening reception. The exhibition will also be posted on the Verum Ultimum Gallery website.

All works in the show must be for sale. The gallery takes a 40 percent commission on all sales, with the artist determining the sale price. Artists accepted to exhibit will not be charged additional fees. The artist retains all copyrights to submitted images and artwork. By entering, selected artists grant Verum Ultimum Gallery rights to use selected images on printed materials and the gallery website for promotional purposes only.
