School of Art and Design Alumni 2021 Exhibition

The School of Art and Design invites alumni to submit one piece created within the past five years for inclusion in the 2021 Alumni Exhibition. To enter, alumni must be a member of the Friends of the School of Art and Design. A discounted Alumni Exhibition rate of $40 is available, and alumni who graduated within the past five years may join for $25.

The exhibition runs August 25 to September 25, 2021, with a reception on Friday, September 3, 5-8 pm. Work will be exhibited at Wellington B. Gray Gallery (ECU), Greenville Museum of Art, Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, and Janis Hardison Faulkner Gallery (Joyner Library, ECU). The exhibition will also be available virtually at art.ecu.edu. Alumni will be notified of their venue placement by July 30, 2021.

Artwork must be submitted via CAFE online by Friday, July 9, 2021 at midnight MST. Maximum dimensions are 6 feet x 6 feet and must be ready to hang/install without sawtooth hangers or magnets. Artwork may be dropped off August 13-14 at any venue or shipped directly with a pre-paid return shipping label. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs. Artwork will be insured through each venue. Artwork at Emerge Gallery may be for sale, with Emerge retaining 40% of the sale price. Pickup is September 25 to October 2; contact your venue for specific times.
