About This Call
Sarratt Gallery at Vanderbilt University is accepting applications for the 2017 exhibition calendar. The jury will award solo, duo, and small group exhibits based on applications. The exhibition calendar runs from January 2017 through November 2017. This call is open to fine and craft-based artists in all mediums except film/video and performance art.
Artists must submit 8-16 images of their work. The entry fee is $25.00. Artists agree to pay for shipping of work to the gallery; the gallery pays for return shipping. A sales commission of 30% is retained by the gallery. Artists should have work from the application available for the exhibit as well as work that continues in the series they have presented.
Sarratt Gallery is located on the main floor of Sarratt Student Center and receives 500+ visitors daily. The gallery is also the center for many major receptions, conferences, and lectures hosted on campus, creating a larger audience for exhibits and artists.
