Saratoga: Town and Country

Eden Compton Gallery invites artists to submit work for "Saratoga: Town & Country," a Regional Fine Art Juried Exhibition celebrating the distinctive character of Saratoga Springs, NY and its environs. The exhibition explores the dialogue between the elegance and unique history of the city and the beauty of the surrounding countryside, including historic streets and storefronts, parks and porches, the racetrack, rural farms, open fields, wooded trails, and seasonal rhythms.

Eligible artists must reside within 100 miles of Saratoga Springs, NY. Accepted media include oil, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, pastel, photography, and printmaking. Work may be representational or interpretive but should reflect the spirit, landscape, architecture, or cultural life of the region. Maximum artwork size is 16 x 20 inches (or 320 square inches not including frame). All work must be original, completed within the past three years, ready to hang (no sawtooth hangers), and for sale. No reproductions, digitally produced artwork, or work created from copyrighted photography is permitted. Entry fee is $35 for up to 2 works. Notifications will be emailed by April 21, 2026. The exhibition runs June 6 – July 17, 2026, with an opening reception on Saturday, June 6 at the gallery. Ann Larsen, Master Artist with the American Impressionist Society, will serve as Juror of Selection and Awards. Cash and merchandise prizes will be awarded at the reception. Eden Compton Gallery will collect a 35% commission on artwork sales, with artists receiving 65% of the sell price. Artwork pickup is scheduled for Saturday, July 18 – Sunday, July 19, 2026, 11am–4pm.
