Santa Gertrudis Day Exhibition at the Presidio

The Tubac Center of the Arts Santa Gertrudis Day Exhibition at the Presidio will feature local artwork representing the history and architecture of Tubac and Tumacacori, Arizona. The exhibition will be displayed in the Shaw D. Kinsley Gallery (also known as Otero Hall) at the Tubac Presidio in celebration of Saint Gertrude and St. Ann's Church. Artwork with St. Ann's/Santa Gertrudis Church scenes, historical, and architecturally themed subjects are invited.

Entry fee is $20.00. Artists may submit 1-3 images. All work must be original, executed within the last 24 months, and cannot have been previously shown at TCA. All artwork must arrive ready to professionally display or hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted (white, black or neutral colors preferred), simply framed and firmly wired with no sawtooth hangers. All work must be for sale; TCA will retain a 40% commission.

Timeline: Applications open February 26, 2018. Deadline is March 10, 2018. Notifications will be sent March 11, 2018. Art is due March 15, 2018. Exhibition opens March 17, 2018 and closes April 29, 2018. Art should be picked up April 30, 2018. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA. Photographers must provide a prepaid barcoded shipping label for return of artwork. Once accepted, artists may submit a high-resolution image (at least 300 dpi) for consideration for use in print promotions by emailing to [email protected] with subject line "Arizona del Sur" and filename format: LastnameF_Title.jpg.
