Santa Cruz Valley Open Studio Tour

The Santa Cruz Valley Artist's Open Studio Tour is an annual event open to both members and non-member artists in the Santa Cruz Valley of Southern Arizona. This is a marketing opportunity for serious professionals and a supportive environment to nurture and present new talent. The entry fee is $85 for Tubac Center of the Arts (TCA) artist members and $100 for non-members. Included with the entry fee is a listing in the printed catalog, tour participation, advertising and promotions, and participation in the OST Preview Exhibit with Opening Reception.

All participating studio tour artists are invited to exhibit in the Preview Exhibit (March 14 - April 20, 2014) at no additional cost. The exhibit opening coincides with Tubac's Spring Art Walk. Work must be original, entirely the work of the artist, executed within the last 24 months, and cannot have been previously shown at TCA. All work in the preview exhibit must be for sale; TCA retains a 40% commission. No art may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close of the exhibition, including sold art. Giclee reproductions printed on canvas are not permitted.

Artists may optionally enter the annual poster contest for an additional $20 fee (up to 2 images). The poster image will be determined by jury. The winning poster artist receives free entry fees to the following year's OST and advertising promotion. The original work of the winning poster image must be available for exhibition during the OST Preview Exhibit and must be for sale. A People's Choice Award of $100 is given to the artist whose work exhibited at the Preview Exhibit receives the most votes by visitors.
