Santa Cruz Valley Open Studio Tour

The Santa Cruz Valley Open Studio Tour is a three-day self-guided tour of artists' workplaces throughout the valley, featuring an exhibition and opening reception at Tubac Center of the Arts, advertising in local, Tucson, and Phoenix metro areas, and a free catalog with maps to participating artists' studios and sponsors.

Participating artists are invited to exhibit one piece of art in the Open Studio Tour Preview Exhibition (January 15 - March 20, 2016). The OST participation fee is $100 for TCA artist members and $125 for non-members, and includes new signage, tour participation, catalogue listing, advertising and promotions, and participation in the Preview Exhibit with Opening Reception. Artists must submit 1-2 images with their application. Work must be original, entirely the work of the artist, executed within the last 24 months, and cannot have been previously shown at TCA. Giclee reproductions printed on canvas are not permitted. No art may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close on Sunday, March 20, 2016, including sold art.

A poster contest is also available with a $20 entry fee for up to 2 images. The winning poster image will be printed as an 18" x 24" collectible poster sold at TCA, with all profits going to the center. The winning artist receives free entry fees for the following year's OST, advertising and promotion of their image, and must provide the original work for exhibition during the Preview Exhibit. A People's Choice Award of $100 is given to the artist whose work at the Preview Exhibit receives the most votes from visitors.
