Santa Barbara Printmakers Summer Juried Exhibition

The Santa Barbara Printmakers Summer Juried Exhibition is open to all printmakers able to hand deliver and pick up their prints at the Channing Peake Gallery. A trusted proxy may deliver and pick up work on behalf of the artist.

The exhibition runs June 18 through October 10, 2018 at Channing Peake Gallery, First Floor of The County Administration Building, 105 East Anapamu Street, Santa Barbara, CA, and continues November 5, 2018 through March 31, 2019 at Joseph Centeno Betteravia Government Administration Building, 511 E. Lakeside Pkwy, Santa Maria, CA. The opening reception is Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Channing Peake Gallery, with awards and comments by juror Sam Carr-Prindle presented at 6 PM.

Accepted work must be brought to the venue for hanging on June 15, 2018 from 9 AM to 12 noon. Artists must pick up prints at Channing Peake Gallery in April 2019 (date and time to be announced). The entry fee is $45. Submit 1-3 images of your work. Juror Sam Carr-Prindle is a master printer at Crown Point Press in San Francisco specializing in intaglio, with a BFA in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and experience working on print projects with over 40 artists including Wayne Thiebaud, Martin Puryear, and Mary Heilmann. Awards: Best of Show $500, Second Place $300, Third Place $200, and four Honorable Mentions of $50 each.
