San Diego's Finest Art Show

San Diego's Finest Art Show is an international open call for artists marking the gallery's 2nd anniversary. This gallery competition invites artists from around the world to showcase their artwork at Art Scene West, located at 803 W Harbor Drive, Suite E1-E, San Diego. Selected artworks will be displayed for 35 days from August 11 - September 15, 2025, and will be available for sale to the public and published on the gallery's website. The competition is judged by acclaimed artist Christopher Paluso, a San Diego native.

Prize awards include: 1st Place $200, 2nd Place $150, 3rd Place $100, Honorable Mention $50, Artist Spotlight $50, and Rising Star $50. Winners will have their artworks honored with accompanying ribbons during the exhibition. An Award Ceremony and Reception will be held on August 16th. Selected artists will have their biographies and artworks promoted on the gallery's social media and website.

Submission deadline is July 18, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The submission fee is $35. Selected artists will be notified by July 22nd and must deliver artwork by August 10th. A participation fee of $100 applies for selected artists to cover promotion, curation, and website/social media costs. Art Scene West retains 40% of sales commissions and remits 60% to the artist. All 2D and 3D artwork styles are welcome. 2D hanging artwork should not exceed 36" on its longest side; sculptures must not exceed 16" high x 8" wide x 8" deep and 45 lbs. Submit 1-3 clear images of your artwork. All works must be original creations and available for sale. Artists are responsible for shipping and return-shipping fees. Unsold artwork can be retrieved or will be sent back beginning September 16th, 2025.
