Salmagundi Club Exhibition Call

The Salmagundi Club is accepting submissions for an upcoming exhibition. Artists may submit up to three works that have not been previously shown at Salmagundi. Only original, high-quality JPEG images should be submitted, with images at least 1900 pixels on the longest edge and no larger than 30 MB. Images must be cropped to show only the artwork itself, properly oriented, and submitted with accurate representation of both unframed and framed work.

Artwork requirements include: outside frame dimensions not exceeding 48", sculptures no more than 30" high and 40 lbs, and all works must be professionally framed with wire for hanging or professionally presentable for gallery display. If displaying under glass, plexi-glass is recommended to avoid breakage. Accepted work must remain in place for the duration of the exhibition. The Art Committee's decision regarding placement and installation is final.

If accepted, artists may deliver work in-person during receiving days or ship with an expected arrival one week before the exhibition opens. A return shipping label must be included if the work is to be shipped back after the exhibition. Hangtags must be printed, filled out legibly, and attached to each artwork before delivery. The Salmagundi Club retains 30% of all sales, with 70% going to the artist. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted by the deadline.
