Salida Arts Festival 2026

The 12th Annual Salida Arts Festival is a juried art show held July 18-19, 2026 in Riverside Park, 146 East Sackett St., Salida, Colorado. The festival accepts up to 80 artists across multiple media categories including ceramics, fiber, jewelry, wood, glass, metal, photography, digital art, drawing/printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, and painting. The show is promoted and managed by artist Jerry Scavezze with over 40 years of experience in juried art festivals.

Artists must provide their own 10' x 10' white booths and displays. Booth fees are $450 for in-line booths (including a $20 city license fee) or $525 for corner booths. Electricity is available for $50. Setup occurs Friday, July 17th from 9am-6pm. The show runs Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 10am-4pm and is free to the public. Artist amenities include rolls and coffee/tea in the morning, water delivery throughout the day, night security, and booth sitters.

Applications are accepted through March 13, 2026. The application fee is $40, and artists may submit up to 2 applications. Applicants must submit 5 images, including a required booth shot. All work must be personally created by the artist; buy/sell, commercial molds, mass-produced work, and flea market items are not permitted. The artist must be personally present for the entire show duration and will need to verify identity at setup with a picture ID. Artists are responsible for collecting and remitting Colorado sales tax and obtaining a multiple event tax license. Jury notification occurs March 16, 2026, with booth purchase deadline April 15, 2026. Full refunds are available until June 1st if the space cannot be filled from the waitlist, or until July 1st if it can be filled.
