Salida Arts Festival 2025

The 11th Annual Salida Arts Festival is a small high quality show held in a town recognized for its art and artists. Many have called this "The Best Art Event" in the Valley. The show location is in beautiful Riverside park adjacent to the newly created "F" St. pedestrian mall. This is the eleventh year for the event, keeping this a small "boutique" style show with only 80 artists accepted. The event dates are July 19-20, 2025, with show hours 10-6 Saturday and 10-4 Sunday. The event is free to the public.

The show is run by and for artists Jerry Scavezze and Susan Bethany with more than 50 years experience participating in juried art festivals. Salida is centrally located in Colorado in the height of the tourist season in the Upper Arkansas Valley. The town typically draws thousands of destination tourists in the summer, with an average home price over $500,000 and lots of vacation homes in the area. Artists must provide their own 10' x10' white booths and displays. Booth fees are $400 for in-line booths, with electricity available for $50 and corner booths for an additional $75.

All work must be the product of your personal inspiration and made by you. Buy/sell or work from commercial molds is not permitted. Artists must be personally present for the duration of the show and collect Colorado sales tax. Application deadline is March 25, 2025, with notification on March 29, 2025. Artists can apply with up to 2 applications for different mediums. The jury selects from approximately 130 applications to choose 75 participating artists, with a waitlist maintained for cancellations.
