SAGE Community Arts 13th Annual National Juried Show

SAGE Community Arts invites artists to submit work for their 13th Annual National Juried Show. This exhibition is open to all artists living in the United States. All work must be original, created within the past five years, and cannot have been included in a prior SAGE Juried Show. Artists may re-submit artwork that was not selected in previous shows. All mediums except photography are accepted. Maximum width for 2-Dimensional art is 36 inches; maximum width or length for 3-Dimensional art is 36 inches. All artwork must be for sale and exhibit-ready with proper wire-hanging mechanism (no saw-tooth hangers or clip-on frames). For 3-Dimensional work, SAGE provides pedestals; artists must provide display hardware for sculpture exceeding pedestal dimensions (22in. by 16in. maximum).

Entry fees are $25 for non-members and $15 for SAGE members (includes first artwork). Each additional piece costs $5 (up to 9 additional pieces). Submit 1-10 images. The jurying process is blind in both stages: the first stage judges online submissions to select 33-40 artworks for exhibition; the second stage determines place rankings. Selected artists will be notified by email no later than June 10th. Artwork must arrive by August 29th at 5:30pm MST. The exhibition runs September 5 - October 7, 2023. Awards include Best in Show ($2,500), 1st Place ($1,250), 2nd Place ($700), 3rd Place ($400), and People's Choice ($150). Awards will be announced at the Awards Reception on Thursday, September 14th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The juror is Robert Martinez, a Wyoming-based artist whose work is held in the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian and other major collections.
