SAGE Community Arts 12th Annual National Juried Show

SAGE Community Arts is accepting submissions for its 12th Annual National Juried Show. This exhibition is open to all artists living in the United States. Original work created within the past five years is eligible, including both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works, except photography. Maximum width for 2-dimensional art is 36 inches; maximum width or length for free-standing 3-dimensional art is 36 inches. Work cannot have been included in a prior SAGE Juried Show, though artists may resubmit work that was not previously selected.

Entry fees are $25 for non-members and $15 for SAGE members (includes first artwork). Each additional piece costs $5 per piece, with up to 9 additional pieces allowed. Submissions must include 1-10 images. The jurying process is blind, with the first stage judged online by submitted images to select 33-40 artworks for exhibition. The second stage determines place rankings. Artists will be notified of acceptance by June 10th. Accepted artwork must be exhibit-ready with proper wire-hanging mechanism (no saw-tooth hangers or clip-on frames). For 3-dimensional work, SAGE provides pedestals up to 22 inches by 16 inches; artists must provide display hardware for larger sculpture.

Awards include Best in Show ($2,500), 1st Place ($1,250), 2nd Place ($700), 3rd Place ($400), and People's Choice ($150). The Awards Reception is Tuesday, August 9th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The exhibition runs from July 26th through September 3rd. Selected work must arrive by July 19th at 5:30pm. Unsold work is available for pickup or shipping beginning September 6th, with all work required to be picked up or shipped by September 10th.
