About This Call
Sacred Play is a juried exhibition celebrating art that embraces the light-hearted, whimsical, and mischievously profound. Juried by Los Angeles artist Steven Morrell, this exhibition invites artists to submit work that embodies fun, playfulness, and a sense of wonder—whether through humor, vibrant colors, unexpected materials, or simply an irresistible spirit of joy. All styles and mediums are welcome, and all career levels are welcome. The exhibition seeks imaginative, quirky, interactive, nostalgic, surreal, absurd, or playful work.
Entry Requirements: Submit 1-20 images. Entry fee is $25.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. All work must be for sale to be selected. While large-scale artwork is appreciated, space is limited; submitting a variety of sizes is encouraged to improve chances of selection.
The exhibition runs May 17-June 7, 2025, with an opening night on Saturday, May 17 from 5-9pm. The exhibition will also be featured on Covet Art Gallery's page on Artsy.net. Entry deadline is April 27, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jury dates are April 27-29, 2025.
