Running From Reality Curated by Miya Bailey

"Running from Reality" is a curated exhibition opportunity led by renowned painter, illustrator, humanitarian, art dealer, and tattoo artist Miya Bailey, who brings over 25 years of experience to this call. The exhibition runs from January 6 to February 10, 2024, in the Atlanta Metro area.

Artists may submit up to 10 image files or three audio/videos for a $15 suggested donation. Applicants are asked to submit works created within the last three years. All works must be created prior to submission and must be framed, mounted, or displayed according to professional gallery standards. The call accepts all 2D and 3D mediums, including painting, drawing, collage, digital, printmaking, fiber art, mixed media, sculpture, and ceramics.

Eligible artists must be over the age of 18, able to deliver art to the Atlanta Metro area, and fit the parameters of an emerging artist with minimal solo exhibition experience, minimal published art criticism, and minimal grant or private funding. This is a regional call for artists in Georgia.
