About This Call
The Compound Round Top is hosting its second year as a juried fine arts and artisans festival in partnership with A Meeting of Styles, Inc. (AMOS), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. The festival aims to become ranked nationally among the top Fine Arts & Artisans Festivals in the country. The first year featured 72 extraordinary Texas fine artists and artisans representing a broad spectrum of styles, mediums, and fine crafts. The festival is set in a unique historical setting along FM237 with free parking and easy load-in and load-out.
The festival will select jurors in each medium to jury up to 100 Texas artists and artisans, with a Featured Artist and Best of Show selected each year. The jury will also include a group to represent the special needs and talents community. Artists and artisans will sell their original creations. The festival is designed to attract educated, well-funded art buyers, collectors, and lovers of fine art and craftsmanship.
Applications are due February 28, 2026 (Midnight CST), with an early bird deadline of February 1, 2026. Early bird application fee is $15; regular application fee is $35 (non-refundable jury fee per application). Each artist must submit four images of work completed within the last three years and one booth image, plus one complete application per medium. Recommended image size is 1920 pixels on the longest side with an approximate file size of 2.0 MB. The jury process is blind; booth images must not include identifiable signs or photos of the artist. Artist notification of jury results is March 5, 2026. Invited artist payment deadline and contracts/booth fees are due April 10, 2026. Load-in begins May 6, 2026 at 9 am. Festival dates are May 8-10, 2026. A wait list will be maintained, and selected wait-listed artists may be contacted when the wait list is released three days prior to the event date.
