About This Call
The 52nd annual Round the Fountain Art Fair will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 on the grounds of the Tippecanoe County Courthouse in Lafayette, Indiana. The fair runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and attracts an average of 8,000-9,000 fine art lovers. The fair is organized by a volunteer committee and benefits area high school art programs and other art-related community projects.
Artists can apply in acrylic, batik, ceramics, fiber, glass, graphics, jewelry, mixed media, oil, pastels, photography, sculpture, watercolor, wood, or other jury-approved mediums. Furniture and wearables are not accepted. All work must be original and made by the artist; reproductions are allowed only in bins or portfolios. Artists may apply in up to three medium categories from a single profile, with a $35 jurying fee per category. Each application requires 5 images of artwork and 1 booth image. Jury results will be notified by March 16, with a deadline to accept the invitation and pay booth fees by April 17.
Booth space is available in 10 feet by 10 feet ($200) or 10 feet by 20 feet ($400) configurations, with specific high-demand locations at $300 and $550. Awards include Best of Show ($1,250), Second Place ($750), Third Place ($500), five $250 Merit Awards in specific categories, and a $250 Aldo Award for cutting-edge work. The committee also purchases one piece for the Courthouse's permanent collection. Setup is Friday, May 22 after 6 p.m. for non-street booths, or Saturday, May 23 at 6 a.m. for street booths. Amenities include free coffee, loading and unloading help, and booth sitters. Booth fees are refundable if requested before May 8.
