Round the Fountain Art Fair 2025

The 51st annual 'Round the Fountain Art Fair will be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2025 on the grounds of the Tippecanoe County Courthouse in Lafayette, Indiana. This Memorial Day weekend event attracts 8,000-9,000 fine art lovers and is organized by a volunteer committee to benefit area high school art programs and other art-related community projects. Merit awards worth close to $5,000 are available as well as several purchase awards, with the committee purchasing one piece each year for the fair's Permanent Collection housed in the courthouse.

Artists can apply in up to three medium categories including acrylic, ceramics, fiber, glass, graphics, jewelry, mixed media, oil, pastels, photography, sculpture, watercolor, wood, and other jury-approved mediums. Furniture and wearables are not accepted. All work must be original and made by the artist, with reproductions allowed in bins or portfolios only. Applications require 5 images of artwork plus 1 booth image, with a $35 jurying fee per medium category.

Booth spaces are available as 10x10 feet ($200) or 10x20 feet ($400), with specific high-demand locations at $300. Awards include Best of Show ($1,250), Second Place ($750), Third Place ($500), five Merit Awards ($250 each), and the Aldo Award ($250) for cutting-edge work. The fair runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. rain or shine, with setup on Friday evening or Saturday morning depending on booth location. Artists receive amenities including free coffee, loading help, and booth sitters.
