Rosewood Gallery 25th Annual The View Landscape Exhibition

The View is a juried exhibition created by Rosewood Gallery as a showcase for Ohio artists presenting traditional or abstract views of landscape or land imagery, environmental themes and world issues. The exhibition runs May 28 – July 5, 2019.

Entries must be original works in any media (2-D or 3-D), completed within the last four years. Artists must be residents of Ohio. Work previously exhibited at Rosewood Gallery is not eligible. Entrants may submit up to three works of art per entry, with up to two images per artwork. Jurying will take place from digital images. The non-refundable entry fee is $20 for up to three works. Entry deadline is Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 11:59pm.

Accepted work drop-off is Saturday, May 18, 10am – 3pm or Monday, May 20, 4pm – 8pm. Shipped artwork must arrive at Rosewood Gallery between May 14 and 20. The opening reception is Sunday, June 2, 2pm – 4pm, with awards announced at 3pm. Exhibiting artwork pickup is Saturday, July 6, 10am – 3pm or Monday, July 8, 4pm – 8pm. Awards totaling $1000 will be distributed at the discretion of the juror, Jack Mann. A People's Choice Award of $150 will be awarded by the Joan W. McCoy Memorial Art Fund through the Kettering Parks Foundation. Rosewood Gallery encourages sales, for which the City of Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department retains a 30% commission. All work is insured during installation and display. Artists shipping work are responsible for shipping charges both ways, with return shipping pre-paid through UPS or FedEx.
