Rosewood Arts Center's 18th Annual HWD Juried Sculpture Exhibition

Rosewood Arts Center invites artists to submit work for the 18th Annual HWD Juried Sculpture Exhibition. Artists may submit up to three different works of art in one application for a $25 entry fee. All types of three-dimensional media are accepted including wood, fiber, stone, metal, glass, and mixed media. Artwork must have been created within the last four years. Eligible artists must be residents of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia.

Submissions are accepted through June 20, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Results will be released by July 1 via email. Accepted work drop-off is scheduled for Saturday, July 20 (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) or Monday, July 22 (4 – 8 p.m.). Shipped artwork must arrive between July 15-22. The exhibition runs from August 5 – September 14, 2024 at the Kettering Health Art Gallery at Rosewood Arts Center. A closing reception will be held on Saturday, September 14 from 1-3 p.m., with awards announced at 2 p.m. Artwork pickup is available September 14 (3-4 p.m.) or September 16 (10 a.m. – 8 p.m.).

Jurors are Kelly and Kyle Phelps, identical twin brothers and professors of sculpture and ceramics at Xavier University and University of Dayton respectively. Awards totaling $1,100 will be distributed at the jurors' discretion. The Gallery retains a 30% commission on sales. All work is insured during installation and display. Artists shipping work are responsible for shipping charges both ways and must provide pre-paid return labels. Participation requires agreement to the Gallery Group Exhibition Agreement.
