Rosemary Beach Sculpture Exhibition 2026-27

Rosemary Beach, Florida is a pristine coastal community known for its stunning natural flora, white sand beaches, and architectural beauty. The architectural design was inspired by West Indies, St. Augustine, FL and New Orleans, LA. RBSE is seeking unique outdoor sculptures to enhance its picturesque natural and built seaside environment.

This biennial exhibition opens in Fall 2026 and runs for one year, showcasing diverse talents and creativity of selected artists while complementing the stunning natural landscape. Artists from all around the world working in the design, construction, and installation of outdoor sculpture are invited to submit applications. Sculptures can be created using any medium, such as metal, wood, stone, glass or any combination thereof. Interactive or kinetic sculptures are also welcome. Sculptures must adhere to specific design parameters: pose no risk of injury to the public, be semi-permanently fixed to a heavy base, require no maintenance during the exhibition, withstand all weather conditions and salt air without fading, be safe and stable for public spaces where they may be touched or climbed on, be viewable in-the-round, and be original, complete works of art. Artists are responsible for transportation, installation, and removal of their sculptures, though assistance and equipment will be provided. Application deadline is March 15, 2026. Finalists will be notified on or before April 30, 2026. Artists must deliver or ship their sculpture and assist in mounting between September 15 and October 15, 2026. Complimentary lodging for two nights will be provided to sculptors participating in opening events. A printed map and self-guided tour will be developed; each artist will be asked to provide a 3-minute verbal introduction for a mobile tour guide app. Entry fee is $10.00. Experienced sculptors with documented experience in outdoor sculpture design and construction are invited to apply.
