About This Call

The 44th Annual Roseland Cottage Fine Arts and Crafts Festival is one of the leading juried fine arts and crafts shows in New England. This two-day event, held October 17-18, 2026, features 180 artisans exhibiting jewelry, woodworking, food products, pottery, glass, paintings, clothing, metalwork, and more. The festival includes live music, food vendors, and first floor tours of Roseland Cottage.

All products must be original, hand-crafted, and well executed. Historic New England does not accept AI, commercial goods for resale, kits, imported, or consigned goods. Work must be designed and crafted by the applying artisan and categorized into one of the following: Bath & Body, Candlemaking, Clothing, Fiber, Folk Art, Food, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metalworking, Miscellaneous, Painting/Drawing, Paper, Photography, Pottery/Ceramics, Printmaking, Soft Sculpture, Toys, or Woodworking. All artwork must be family friendly and not exhibit anything that could be interpreted as racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise offensive.

Artists are selected via blind jury process. Five quality images must be submitted for each category entered: four of artwork/product and one of booth set-up. The jury of 8-10 people scores applications based solely on photos and artist statement using a 1-10 scale. Notification of acceptance will be sent via email in mid-late May 2026. Accepted exhibitors must pay the $200 booth fee by July 11, 2026 to confirm participation. Booth space is 12 x 12 feet. The application fee is $10 (non-refundable). Booth fees are fully refundable if cancellation is received in writing before July 31, 2026; no refunds after that date. Exhibitors are responsible for providing tents, tables, or canopies. No electricity or generators are provided. Booths must have 40lbs of attached weight per leg or stakes no shorter than 6 inches. The festival runs 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days, rain or shine. Setup is available 12:00-5:00 p.m. Friday, October 16 and 7:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17. Booth breakdown cannot begin until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18.
