About This Call
Rocky Mountain Regional Juried Exhibition (RMRJE) is organized by the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery in Red Lodge, Montana. The exhibition will be on view May 6–June 23, 2022, with an opening event and announcement of awards on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 5:30–7:30 p.m. Cash awards are given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, as well as a People's Choice award. Honorable Mentions will receive ribbons.
The juror for the 2022 exhibition is Terry Cooke Hall, a professional artist based in Bozeman, Montana, who works in California impressionism. Hall has exhibited in more than 30 major museum shows and her work is featured in national magazines including Art of the West Magazine.
Open to residents of Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Idaho. Eligible media include oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, drawings, and small 3-D sculptures. Photographs, computer-generated artwork, prints, jewelry, and crafts are not eligible. All works must be original, created by the artist, and executed within the last 5 years. 2-D artwork cannot exceed 2'×3' (excluding frame); 3-D works cannot exceed 3'×3'×6' or weigh over 50 lbs. Entry fee is $30 for a maximum of 3 entries. Submit 1–3 digital JPEG images at 300 dpi. Accepted artists will be notified by April 8. Art must be delivered by April 29.
