Rockwall Art League 24th Annual Juried Fine Art Show

Rockwall Art League presents the 24th Annual Juried Fine Art Show & Sale, a North Texas regional exhibition celebrating contemporary art in a variety of mediums. The show welcomes artists from Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana and provides opportunities to be seen by art lovers, collectors, and business representatives across the DFW metroplex.

Up to $4,300 in cash prizes will be awarded, including Best in Show ($500), 1st Place in each category ($250), 2nd Place ($150), 3rd Place ($50), Mayor Award ($100), Cavender Nissan Host Award ($100), and People's Choice ($100 Gift Certificate). Categories include Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Photography/Digital Art, Mosaic, Drawing, Sculpture, and Mixed Media. A minimum of 3 artists must be entered in a category for it to be represented; categories with 3-5 artists receive 1st place only; 6+ artists receive all prizes. Sculpture excludes jewelry, installation art, and video or audio enhancements.

Eligibility: Open to artists age 18+ residing in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Works must be original and created after January 1, 2021. Entry fee is $35 for up to 2 works; additional works are $5 each (up to 5 total). Two-dimensional works must not exceed 48" x 48" including frame and weigh 50 lbs. or less; all must be framed, gallery wrapped, or ready to hang with proper wiring. Three-dimensional works must not exceed 40" width/depth and 36" height plus pedestal, with total height not exceeding 72". Artwork must be family friendly and not previously displayed at Rockwall Art League Annual Fine Art Shows. A 20% commission is deducted from all sales. Hand delivery is September 26, 2024 (3:00pm-6:00pm) at 1700 I-30, Rockwall, TX 75087. Exhibition runs September 27-29, 2024, with a reception and awards ceremony on September 29 (2:00pm-4:00pm). Artist pickup is September 29 (4:00pm-6:00pm).
