Rockport Art Festival 2026

Since 1969, the Rockport Art Festival has been held on July 4th weekend in Rockport, Texas, located on Aransas Bay. The festival showcases high-quality artists, live music, a kids' activity tent, and attracts over 10,000 attendees.

The festival is open to individual fine artists and mastercraftsmen presenting original work. Artists may submit work in up to 2 categories (painting, sculpture/3D, ceramics/pottery/clay art, jewelry, photography & digital art, drawing, or other media), applying separately for each with a separate jury fee and set of 3 images. However, artists may only exhibit and sell artwork in the category they are accepted into. No manufactured items or kits are permitted. Prints must be limited edition, signed and numbered by the artist with the type of reproduction clearly labeled. At least 50% of the booth must display signed, original work created by the artist.

Booth fees are $375 for a single booth (approximately 7.5' deep by 10' wide under a shaded tent), $250 per artist for a shared booth (maximum 2 artists), with optional extra space at $100 and electricity at $75. Shared booths must be arranged at the time of application. Artists are responsible for all display equipment. Setup occurs on the Friday prior to the festival. Overnight security is provided. Notification of acceptance, decline, or wait-list status will be emailed by April 8, 2026. Booth payment is due by May 31, 2026. Cancellations received by email on or before June 1, 2026 will receive a booth fee refund less a $50 processing fee; no refunds are made after June 1, 2026. Application and jury fees are non-refundable. Best of Show Award ($500) and Best of Category Awards ($100) are juried and announced on the first day of the festival. Award winners receive automatic acceptance to the festival the following year without an application fee or jury fee, but must still reserve and pay booth fees. A free artists' breakfast is hosted by Rockport Center for the Arts on Sunday morning.
