Riverviews Artspace 16th Annual Juried Art Show

Riverviews Artspace invites artists from across the United States to submit work for its 16th Annual Juried Art Show. Artists may submit up to three artworks regardless of subject matter or medium for evaluation by juror Betsy Bannan, a Roanoke-based painter and professor at Virginia Tech's School of Visual Arts. Bannan holds an MFA from Pratt Institute and has work in the permanent collection of the National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC. Her practice explores perspectives of the earth and its inhabitants through aerial views and imagery of flight, examining topography, human impact on land, and the concept of built environment.

Each artist may submit up to three artworks completed within the past five years. Work samples may include 1-9 images and up to 3 videos. The entry fee is $40. Selected 2D works must be ready to hang with all necessary hardware upon delivery. Selected 3D works must be delivered with installation instructions and all necessary hardware. Artists are responsible for delivery and pickup of artworks and associated costs.

Entry deadline: September 13, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Juror selections will be announced September 25. Artist contracts are due October 7, with final artwork delivery by October 18. The exhibition runs November 1, 2024 through January 9, 2025, with an opening reception and juror prize selections announced November 1. A People's Choice Award will be announced December 6.
