About This Call
Rivers of Gold is an inaugural exhibition presented by the CAC Greater Sacramento Sierra Chapter at The Bank of America Gallery in Three Stages at Folsom Lake College (10 College Parkway, Folsom, CA 95630). The exhibition runs from July 7 – September 2, 2012.
This exhibition is open to CAC Greater Sacramento Sierra Chapter members only. Artists are invited to submit paintings and sculpture representing the Sacramento, San Joaquin, and American Rivers, as well as other rivers and important waterways in the Northern California region. Accepted media includes paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel, or acrylic, and sculptures. Please note that space in the gallery is limited, so consider the size of artworks when submitting.
Entry fee is $35.00, with an additional $10.00 media fee for each image beyond the first. Submit 1-6 images. The application deadline is Friday, May 11, 2012. Artwork must be hand-delivered on Friday, June 29, 2012 between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (no shipped artwork accepted). Artwork pick-up is Tuesday, September 4, 2012 between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Sales commission is split 50% to the artist, 30% to Three Stages, and 20% to CAC.
