Right Now It's All Yellow

Drawing Rooms invites submissions for "Right Now It's All Yellow," a spring exhibition running April 24 - May 18, 2025, with an opening reception on April 26, 2025. Inspired by hope for spring and themes of yellow—from daffodils and lemons to the sun and yellow submarines—the show is dedicated to Donovan and his music from the flower power era. The exhibition will feature selected works for sale on Artsy.net.

Acceptable media includes works on paper in any media or textiles. Works must be original (no AI or reproductions), unframed, framed, or mounted on cradled panel, with a maximum size of 18 x 24 inches. Simple frames in white, black, or wood tones are preferred. All works must be ready-to-hang and for sale. The entry fee is $30. Artists must submit 1-5 JPG images (minimum 1200 pixels on the shorter dimension) with filenames labeled as: First Last Name, Title, Size, Medium, Date, Price.jpg. A bio (2-3 sentences) and artist statement (200 words or less) are required.

Submission deadline is March 23, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of acceptance is March 26, 2025. Work may be dropped off April 11-13, 2025, or mailed (unframed works only, must arrive by April 14, 2025). All works are insured while in Drawing Rooms' possession. Sales commissions are split 60% to artists and 40% to Drawing Rooms, with payment within 30 days of sale. Pickup is May 18-19, 2025, with mail-back starting May 20, 2025. Artists must be 18 or older.
